Our Learning Curriculum
The Kiddie Kampus curriculum is designed with weekly themes which provide age-appropriate learning experiences. Teachers create lesson plans focused on social skills, self confidence, music and movement, language and literacy, science and math concepts and the creative arts. Lesson plans are posted on designated parent boards along with other pertinent information.
One recent curricular theme was the outer space. These children learned about our solar system and space travel. They even sampled a real freeze-dried astronaut meal!
Special events and field trips are planned to enhance the thematic curriculum. Kiddie Kampus provides materials and equipment to facilitate the challenging learning environment. Children enjoy many different learning centers including dramatic play, texture tables, drawing and painting, music, quiet time and much more!
Our Teaching Staff
Our Kiddie Kampus staff are experienced and nurturing teachers who utilize a variety of teaching techniques to foster children’s learning and development. We take pride in the longevity of our staff and their dedication to the families and children of Kiddie Kampus.
All staff participate in continuous education through sponsored workshops to stay current in early childhood education. Many of our teachers are medication-certified as well as trained in CPR and first aid. A registered nurse is also available.
